Chosen from over 180 submissions to the 25th Art in the County exhibit and sale, Tom Ashbourne won a coveted Juror’s Choice award (selected by esteemed jurors) for Celestial. This thought-provoking, elegant sculpture in Cloud Alabaster on a black marble base is irresistibly touchable.  Tom says it best: “Celestial is like newborn star, the seed of a new galaxy emerging from ancient stone. Sentient. Awakening." Presented by Books and Company, this is Tom’s second Juror’s Choice award. In 2017 he won his first Juror’s Choice award for Georgia (Peach Alabaster, black marble base).
