Summer in the far north is a magical time. Warm light shines through midnight hours that should belong to darkness. Midnight Sun is inspired by that quiet miracle, and by the times when light found me just when I needed it most.

We all face times when we wonder if the light will ever return. But the dark sphere resting in a ring of gold, set in pure white alabaster, is a sign that even in our darkest hours, light is never far away.

Midnight Sun brings to mind the people who brought light into my life. Those who offered a kind word, stood by me through hard times, or quietly held my hand to comfort me.
