Shaped by Love

Shaped by Love is a tribute to the unbreakable bond of family, inspired by my visit Barbara Hepworth’s studio in St. Ives, UK. Three forms rise together as mother, father and child, strengthened by the intertwining curves of mother and father. Held between them, their child is shaped by their love.

A gentle mother figure, rich with natural features, curves toward the child to nurture and protectit. The child responds with a gentle curve, leaning close to her. The father has a progression of distinctive features on one side, representing a parent’s wisdom and experience. Facing him, the child has similar but rudimentary features, early signs of the person they will become.

We are all shaped by the hands that hold us and the people who love us. I hope Shaped by Loveinspires you to hold your loved ones close.
