Ulrich is an homage to Ulrich Saloga, German artist who also exhibited in the 2021 Florence Biennale. Our many conversations about art and life revealed that our separate journeys from corporate executive to successful professional artist and our passion for art are almost identical. Ulrich opened my eyes and my mind to the powerful energy that my sculptures communicate. He’s had a huge impact on my subsequent work, and my understanding of what makes good art great.
