“True North” shows nature’s dance under the majestic aura of a midnight sun.
When creating this sculpture, I wanted to communicate the juxtaposition between the delicate lichen clinging to life on the Canadian Shield and the raw power that is radiating from an ancient rock formation. This sculpture is a metaphor for our tenuous but strong connections to each other and life itself.
